About Us

Concord School of Grooming in Knoxville, TN, is a post-secondary school authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. We teach students how to groom all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats. Our students learn all about nail care, ear care, how to deal with infections, how to recognize different skin conditions, and the proper shampoo to use in every situation. Student pet groomers also learn the appropriate use of their equipment and how to position themselves safely to avoid harming the pet or themselves. Our owner, Susan Porterfield, opened her school in 1967 and now, more than 50 years later, continues to inspire those in her pet grooming classes with a love of animals and a desire to make their lives more comfortable.
Concord School of Grooming also provides unparalleled services and pet grooming.
